On a Sunday morning in Jayanagar, the doors of Sri Kuchalamba Kalyana Mahal opened to a different kind of gathering. Families, elders and young people arrived to be seen, heard and treated — and left with a check-up, advice and medicines in hand.
Organised under the divine guidance of His Holiness Srimath Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya Sri Sri Sri Yogishwara Swami, the camp reflected the Mahapeetham’s commitment to community service, healthcare access and social welfare. Participants left happy and satisfied with the care they received.
Comprehensive Healthcare, All in One Place
From a child's first consultation to an elder's heart check, the camp brought many kinds of care into one hall, so no one had to travel from clinic to clinic. More than eleven medical specialities ran side by side, alongside Ayurveda and homeopathy.
Removing the Cost Barrier to Treatment
Seeing a doctor is only half the journey. The Mahapeetham provided free medicines — valued at about ₹2.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh — so patients could walk out with what they needed right after their consultation. Behind every bottle was a volunteer who read the prescription, matched the label and handed it over with care.
Service with a blessing
Before the camp began, the whole team gathered with folded hands before Swamiji. In white shirts carrying one name, doctors, volunteers and organisers stood as one family, ready to serve — spirituality expressed in the most practical way: by showing up, and by caring for others.
Preventive healthcare begins when we pay attention, and when someone is there to help us do it.
From the Day
Those Who Made It Possible
The camp was made possible by the hospitals, clinics and voluntary organisations that gave their time and care — each honoured with a certificate of appreciation.
The organisers thank every doctor, medical professional, volunteer and supporting organisation. By bringing many services to one venue, the camp encouraged people to pay attention to their health and seek timely advice — and showed what charity and healthcare can do when they work side by side.
